Bonjour !
Please
let me introduce myself:
My
name is Yolla. I am a qualified and experienced native French
teacher offering individual French lessons to adults
and children.
I've
been teaching French as a foreign language for over 15 years
now to people from all over the world.
I also speak fluent English, Arabic and Italian as I grew up
in Beirut, Lebanon where I did part of my studies in both French
and British private schools.
After
an MA in FLE (French as a Foreign Language), I decided to specialize
in Phonetics, realizing it was a master key for any one wishing
to speak French with a proper accent in order to understand
what people say, and be understood.
I
have created my own phonetic method. It is a simple, progressive
method based on specific reading exercises.
Because
I grew up in a cosmopolitan and friendly environment, I love
communicating with foreigners and people from different cultures.
Human relations are very important to me and represent a major
aspect of my teaching.
My
method is based on bilingual teaching.
So except for very advanced levels, English (or another language)
will be used as a vehicle for all technical explanations and
translations. That way we go much faster
and things are more clear for you.
